AFTER-SCHOOL TUTORING

Monday–Friday: 3:30–6 p.m. MST

The Study Buddies program is a free after-school tutoring program designed for elementary and middle school students. Our tutors are here to assist with completing homework assignments and to provide students with study skills that will help them in the future. High school students are also able to become tutors and earn community service hours.

SUMMER CAMP

June 8–July 31, 2026
Monday–Friday: 1:30–6 p.m. MST

A supervised, free-of-charge indoor program designed for children during the summer break where they participate in various activities, such as board games, hands-on activities, arts and crafts, movie days, and story reading, while building friendships and developing new skills in a supportive community setting.

FREE TAX FILING WITH VITA TAX ASSIST

January 27–April 14, 2026
Tuesdays: 9–11 a.m. and 1–3 p.m. MST
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is an IRS program that trains volunteers to help prepare tax returns free of charge for qualifying households based on income. Tax-preparation assistance is also available to individuals with disabilities, older adults and Spanish-speaking taxpayers.

SENIOR BREAKFAST

Second Friday of every month: 9–11 a.m. MST1
Older adults ages 50 and up are invited to join us for a delicious breakfast and informational, bilingual presentations from GECU Community Development and other community partners.

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) CLASSES

Mondays and Thursdays: 6–7 p.m. MST
Learn the basics of the English language with these free classes! Our ESL classes teach you how to read and write in English and some verbal skills that can help you get a job or help with your child's homework. Classes are available for people ages 18 and up.

MONTHLY FOOD PANTRY

Last Saturday of every month: 8–10 a.m. MST1
November and December distributions occur before the holidays

We're committed to providing food to families in need in our community. Join us every month for our food pantry. Be aware that your income can't exceed certain guidelines.

HOLIDAY EVENTS

Thanks to our generous donors and supporters, we are able to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in our community during our food pantry event and donate toys to children at our Christmas event.
